Puma BORNEO MT MID S3 WR M AN CI HI HRO SR Safety Shoes

The BORNEO MT MID is the most heavily equipped model in Puma Safety’s Scuff Caps EVO line, designed for work on unpaved and rough terrain. In addition to the standard S3 protection, this shoe features a metatarsal instep guard and a TPU ankle protection system.

The instep guard is lightweight and flexible, absorbs 90 percent of impact energy according to the manufacturer, and has an antimicrobial finish. The rubber outsole has coarse lugs and is heat-resistant up to 300 degrees; beneath it lies a direct-injected PU midsole that distributes shock across the entire sole of the foot. The extra-high scuff cap protects the toe area when kneeling frequently, and the VOLUME PLUS concept provides more space at the little toes and in the ball area, up to size 48.

Class S3 with WR designation means a protective toecap, penetration resistance, and a shoe that is waterproof as a whole. Due to the extra protectors, this is a sturdy and relatively heavy model; choose it if you truly need that level of protection.
