The Dresden is a softshell jacket that serves as a versatile outer layer for spring and autumn. It blocks the wind and lets light rain bead off, all while keeping you from sweating. You can wear it for outdoor work during construction site visits or as a corporate jacket while on the go.

The outer layer is windproof and water-repellent, and the inside features fleece that retains warmth without adding much weight. You close the jacket with a zipper behind an internal storm flap that keeps out drafts. The sleeves are articulated so you can reach freely, and you can adjust them at the wrist with Velcro. For pockets, you have zippered chest pockets, zippered front pockets, and inner pockets; there is also a pen compartment and a D-ring for attaching an ID badge or keys. The back is extended so you don't stay exposed when bending over, and you can tighten the hem with an elastic drawstring. The jacket is two-toned with contrast stitching and reflective accents.

The material is polyester with a small amount of elastane for stretch. Wash the jacket at 40 degrees on a delicate cycle and hang it to dry; avoid the dryer and iron. Note the difference between water-repellent and waterproof: water will eventually penetrate during prolonged or heavy rain, so choose a rain jacket with taped seams in those conditions.
