The SHIFT MID takes the last of a low-cut sneaker and adds a padded shaft that supports the ankle without pinching. The edge of the tongue is also extra padded so that the lacing does not cause pressure points. The upper combines hard-wearing microfiber with abrasion-resistant textile and is vegan. Underneath is the MOTION CORE sole: up to 300 °C heat-resistant rubber with flat lugs for indoor work and deeper profiling for outdoors, and a laterally raised midsole in the heel that — just like in running shoes — provides extra stability when the foot hits the ground. The anatomically shaped steel toe cap leaves room for the toes and the flexible FAP® LITE insole provides metal-free penetration protection.
